The grassland enterprise is centred on a flock of approximately 800 breeding ewes,
with a limited re-introduction of young cattle onto the water meadows, with grazing
enhancing biodiversity. An ongoing programme of fence replacement and sward regeneration,
and extensive reinvestment within the New Hayward Farm buildings, provides a first-class
centre of operation for the sheep grazier.
