The Chilton Estate lies north west of Hungerford within the North Wessex Downs AONB. The Estate is a family run business extending to just over 2000 acres and managed on traditional lines. Our family has recently celebrated 100 years of ownership of the estate. Looking to the future, we aim to sustain and improve the built and natural environment of which we are fortunate enough to be the stewards.
Land management is based on environmentally friendly low input arable farming and livestock grazing, together with active woodland, riverine and wildlife management, and with an important emphasis on enhancing biodiversity. Property management is centred round the improvement of existing buildings that may be redundant or in need of refurbishment.
